Abstract :
Four years´ experience in the clinical engineering course in Kitasato University has revealed problems in the education for the clinical engineering technologist. The main problems are related to the curriculum, the textbooks and the teaching staff. The curriculum should be revised so that the students can learn clinical engineering more effectively without additional lecture hours. The textbooks should be published in Japanese, and the teaching staff should be increased and better trained
