Abstract :
In this paper, a novel millimeter wave transition between waveguide and double-sided parallel-strip line (DSPSL) is proposed. The energy is coupled to the DSPSL from waveguide through the double-sided taper slot on the substrate which inserted into the waveguide. The back-to-back transition configuration is investigated with 0.5dB insertion loss from 31GHz to 39GHz. The proposed transition has more than 22% fractional bandwidth for which the return loss is better than 15dB.
