Abstract :
Recent developments in deep sub-micron process technology made system-on-a-chip a reality. By merging memories, analog cores, processor cores, and logic, a designer can truly implement a system, not just by its complexity but by its function as well. In this paper, we discuss the requirements for providing a true system-on-a-chip solution.
