Abstract :
Based on classical Geom/G/1 model, setup mechanism is introduced and delayed vacation strategy is used, then a delayed vacation Geom/G/1 queue model with setup is formed. Choosing customer departure epoch as embedded point, by the method of embedded Markov chain, the probability generating function (PGF) of queue length is derived, the decomposition of the PGF is analyzed, the formula of average queue length is presented.
