Abstract :
This paper presents a new category of bandgap voltage reference circuits with programmable output voltage. Intended to operate at low supply voltages, the proposed structure is fully CMOS compatible. The implementation of the concept in a 0.18 μm CMOS technology yields three values of output voltages (0.6 V, 0.9 V and 1.2 V) with excellent temperature coefficients and very good PSRR while running at supply voltages down to 1.2 V.
