  • Abstract
    As the development of wireless communication, people put forward higher requirements on wireless transceiver system. MIMO technology is a major breakthrough in the field of wireless communication and it can greatly increase the channel capacity and spectrum efficiency without expanding bandwidth. This paper works on the design, development and test of a MIMO transmitter which supports four transmit and four receive antennas scheme. The platform is designed by functional modules, which contain RF part, control part, phase shifter part. After the construction of the hardware platform, the MIMO transmitter system is tested, which verifies that each module of the platform works properly. At last, the tests above also validate the rightness of the system design and the usability of the transmitter.
