Abstract
In this paper, frequency-domain implementation of a block turbo-equalizer where ISI suppression and CAI resolution are performed separately is presented. This functional split allows deriving efficient low complexity structures based on a modified doubly iterative architecture which ensure better tradeoff between performance and complexity. We focus on a modified doubly-iterative and hybrid structure where further complexity reduction is obtained by relaxing the criterion retained for ISI suppression (max-SNR instead of MMSE) from a given iteration. Simulation results show the efficiency of such modified architectures in the case of a realistic spatially correlated MIMO channel
