Abstract :
This paper deals with a high performance electrical machine based on transverse flux technology. Transverse flux machines offer the combination of a high output torque and a high efficiency with the minimum required volume. The structure and characteristics of this machine, an analytical design method of a 2 kW transverse flux machine and its design parameters are presented.
