Abstract :
In the Long Term Evolution (LTE) downlink under the high-speed-train (HST) environment, a new emerged frequency step problem in the cell handover is analyzed and modeled, and a novel frequency synchronization scheme is proposed to resolve the problem. The proposed scheme can adaptively detect the location of the frequency step, and employs a special compensation processing to obviate the frequency step in the received signals. Simulation results show that the performance of the frequency synchronization by using the proposed scheme in the systems is greatly improved.
