Abstract
This research project gathers information about overall impression (s) of China by tourists in China as well as their likes and dislikes of and about the country. The study also examines respondentspsila perceptions of similarities and dissimilarities of cultural variables (i.e., psychic distance) between their own country and China. The information contained herein will benefit both policy makers and managers in the tourist industry in their strategic planning process. The purpose of the research is to better serve the incoming tourists to China.
