Abstract :
A 1V active-RC complex filter with on-chip automatic frequency tuning circuits for wireless sensor networks RF transceiver chip is designed using TSMC 0.18μm CMOS process. The filter is synthesized from a low-pass 3rd-order Chebyshev RLC ladder filter prototype. The filter is centered at 2MHz with a bandwidth of 3MHz. The simulated results show that the filter provides more than 30dB image rejection ratio while the ripple in the pass-band is less than 0.4dB. The filter consumes 3.9mA with 1V single supply voltage.
