Abstract
Taking the Nonghua 5 peanut as experimental material, the effects of low energy C+ ion (LECI) implantation in four doses on budding rate and other characters in the seedling stage of M1 generation and drought resistance of M3 generation were experimentally studied. The results showed that the ion took little affects on the budding rate and the germination potential, but tended to depress them. The GS of the peanut seedling was enhanced by the ion. And optimum dosage of LECI could significantly improve the drought resistance in peanut in the M3 generation.
