  • Abstract
    Frequency hopping (FH) sequences have important applications in FH-CDMA systems. In this paper, a simple but general construction of optimal FH sequence sets using difference-balanced functions is presented. It generalizes several known algebraic constructions of optimal FH sequences. In addition, new optimal FH sequence sets can be generated by the proposed construction.
