Abstract
In most studies, the common algorithm based on threshold values is used for judging whether accelerator pedal is mistakenly stepped on by parameters of a single moment, which is easily influenced by random disturbances or changes in circumstances. However, there is nondeterminacy and randomicity in the process of mistakenly stepping on the accelerator. In this paper, we describes a method of fuzzy cluster analysis to classify characteristic parameters and then identify wrong manipulation, requiring no threshold values,. The experimental results indicate this approach can reliably identify whether accelerator pedal is stepped on mistakenly and make it more exact.
