Abstract :
In this paper, a simulation model for the study of the strategic decision for supply chain based on Cellular Automata is developed, considering the influences of implied uncertainty of demand and supply and competing capability of neighbor firms. The behavior of strategic decision between efficient supply chain and responsive supply chain is simulated. And The simulation results show good agreement with the behavior that is observed in practice, which implies that Cellular Automata is an effective analyzing method in the simulation of strategic decision for supply chain.
