Abstract :
It is known that a zero-sequence circulating current could exist in parallel three-phase converters. This paper firstly presents a survey of present technologies regarding parallel multi-phase converters. Secondly, based on a zero-sequence modeling and control concept, this paper generalizes the concept to parallel N number of M-phase converters, such as full-bridge, three-phase three-leg and four-leg rectifiers and inverters. The control design issues are discussed based on the generalized model
