Study on the city image network monitoring system based on opinion-mining

Internet users´ evaluation about cities is an important basis for government´s effective decision-making, and is also an important reference for upgrading city´s image. Nowadays government mainly uses public sentiment monitoring on the Web to find all the aspects of cities´ reputation and image, but it is hard to extract and analyze information effectively. So we use the opinion-mining and the step-by-step sub-model design method to develop the system of city image network monitoring to find tendencies and evolution of sentiment by city reviews mining and sentiment analysis, then provide the valuable suggestions according to the results to government with visual interface.
