Abstract :
Welcome to CyberC 2012: the International Conference on Cyber-enabled Distributed Computing and Knowledge Discovery conference. The goal of CyberC is to provide a forum for presentation and discussion of innovative ideas, research results, applications, and experience for network-enabled distributed computing and knowledge discovery technologies. It focuses on all aspects of distributed computing and knowledge mining and their scientific, engineering, and commercial applications. This year we have introduced four workshops on topics including EHealth, Cognitive Radio, Security, and SmartSensor. The conference is organized by the Beijing Jiaotong University, University of Louisville, IEEE, IEEE Computer Society (CS), IEEE CS Technical Committee on Simulation. Their generous support from Teradata, AT&T, Comrise, HUAWEI, and InfoBeyond are crucial for the success of CyberC-2012. We would like to thank all the authors for submitting a large number of papers for the conference.
