Abstract :
In the recent years, as aging society becomes serious in Japan, people, especially those in the health industry, focus on the improvement of healthcare. Due to the unsuitable algorithm of out-patient appointment systems, patients always complain about long waiting-times. Because of this, it is necessary to re-build the algorithm of the out-patient appointment system to reduce waiting-times. In this paper, the current appointment method will be discussed, and the data of the current appointment system will be analyzed using statistic methods. By analyzing the result, a proposed appointment method and algorithm may be able to reduce the waiting-time.
