Abstract
There is a need for low cost, efficient field emission materials for use in flat panel displays. The discovery, by the authors, of high emission currents from ´spin-on´ materials, consisting of conjugated polymers, is, therefore, of potential importance. Analysis based on the presence of space charge limited currents in the polymer films is described and comparison is made with measurement.
