Abstract
This work presents an image authentication watermarking which is not only able to authenticate an entire image, but also detect the tampered image blocks. To this end, it encodes the image index using an error correcting code (ECC), and then amortizes the codeword symbols into the image blocks. This method reduces the size of block watermarks and hence provides good localizing accuracy.
