Abstract :
The synthetic conditions of BiVO4:Mo crystallization in the molten salts of K-Bi-V-Mo-O have been studied. The compound crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group I2/a, with unit cell parameters a = 5.1153(3), b = 11.7012(1), c = 5.1878(1) Å, β = 90.24(1)°, Z = 4 representing scheelite-related structure. The formula of the compound established to be Bi0.98V0.95Mo0.05O4.
