            Abstract :
A novel W-band, suspended-substrate-microstripline, second-harmonic GaAs Gunn oscillator has been developed. Output powers of 4 mW at 94 GHz, 5.8 mW at 88.3 GHz, and 15 mW at 75 GHz have been achieved with different Gunn devices and circuit parameters. The oscillator can be easily integrated with other suspended-substrate-microstripline circuits, such as a mixer, to form a fully integrated suspended-substrate-microstripline front-end of a receiver. This novel configuration can be easily modified to form a voltage-controlled oscillator and power combiner.<>
