Abstract :
In this paper, we experimentally study the effects of using low cost optical amplifiers and lasers in multi-format multi-wavelength radio over fiber signals. We analyze the propagation of UMTS, WLAN and WIMAX radio signals in a single channel scenario and study the impact of amplifying the referred radio signals together with amplitude modulated ones in WDM.
