Abstract :
Recent advances on silica-based highly nonlinear fibers of their ultra uniform longitudinal chromatic dispersion uniformity are described. Practical applications utilizing these fibers such as enhanced wavelength conversion efficiency and supercontinuum generation are demonstrated.
