Abstract
An ultra-stable ovenized crystal oscillator (the 260 Series) has been designed and developed at MTI-Milliren Technologies Inc. in order to provide an alternative to rubidium oscillators. The oscillator has been developed for applications where it is critical to maintain comparable performance parameters of a rubidium oscillator without the higher cost and inherent wear-out phenomena which may be detriment to system design goals
