Abstract :
A simple mathematical model based on voltage vs. frequency characteristics of the fluorescent lamp that incorporates a negative dynamic resistance is derived, and a corresponding circuit model for SPICE simulation is developed. Simulation and measurement results of fluorescent lamps confirm the validity of the model
