Abstract
The increasing demand for value added services is a driver for telecommunication companies to find simple and cost efficient solutions for automated service creation, as bespoke service development for small customer groups is not economically viable. The aim of this paper is to propose a peer-to-peer based environment that supports deployment and discovery of value-added services. The identified services can subsequently be aggregated to fulfil more complex individual demands. In this paper a new service description language is introduced to enable the basis for automatic service composition. The proposed approach may be implemented as a peer-to-peer based NGN using SIP signalling.
