Abstract
A UPS not only provides uninterruptible power to critical loads, but also isolation from the utility line, power factor correction and the regulation of associated line voltage variations as well as several forms of voltage transients present on the utility line. This paper presents an integrated DC UPS scheme with power factor correction, which has the following characteristics: high power factor, galvanic isolation, fast regulation of the output voltage, high efficiency and multi-output capability. A 100 W experimental prototype was built to verify the proposed converter. Design considerations and experimental results are included
