Abstract :
In this paper, the development of integrated Schottky diodes in the BCD5 technology is described. The structure adopted is analyzed and model equations are carried out to evaluate diode characteristics. The diodes were applied to the integration of a zero voltage transition (ZVT) bridge power converter switched at high frequency for voice coil motor driving, where fast and recovery-free diodes are required to implement the auxiliary branches. The experimental results validating diode behaviour are reported
