Title :
System parameters testing methodology for ITS applications of GNSS systems
Author_Institution :

Abstract :
This paper presents the methodology designed for verification and certification of intelligent transport systems (ITS) applications that use global navigation satellite systems (GNSS, e.g. GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, possibly also accompanied by augmentation systems) for their operation. Specifically, the methodology focuses on the telematic applications in road or urban transport with vehicles located by “virtual gate” passage. Earned certification methodology assesses the functionality of ITS applications from multiple perspectives, i.e. the system parameters (performance indicators).
