Abstract :
Biocompatibility of biomaterials depends on protein adsorption processes. The comprehension and control of the interaction between proteins and solid surfaces therefore finds important applications in various biomedical fields. A capacitive sensor is presented for the characterization of the adsorption kinetic of proteins such as human serum albumin and cysteina. A large amount of experimental data have been gathered in order to validate the measurement approach proposed.
