Abstract :
This paper presents SoC IPs for multimedia and communications. Recently, for platform based design application specific signal processors (ASSPs) are playing an important role due to their flexibility and performance. However, several applications requiring high performance and low power consumption still have been implemented using ASICs. This paper proposes two ASSPs for OFDM systems and audio algorithms. In addition, this paper presents a new FFT processor, a new Reed-Solomon (RS) decoder, and a novel Ethernet compensator.
