Abstract :
The article focuses on integrating RFID technology into a public food service. Our proposition comprises two distinctive constitutional blocks, the first takes case of identifying RFID tags and is implemented primarily in hardware, whereas the second one runs in software on a personal computer and consists of MySQL database for data manipulation as well as associated user interface. A complete implementation of the system is described together with rationales for parts selection and schematics. Potential customers satisfaction and costs savings more than justify integration of our proposition into a public food service.
