  • Abstract
    This paper presents a preliminary study on fast rough alignment for two-stage protein structure comparison (PSC) algorithm. In this paper, we proposed a new two-stage PSC algorithm. In the previous research, nongeometric protein information has been studied and applied in proposed PSC algorithm. The preliminary experiment result reveals that nongeometric information, especially biochemical information, is very useful in rough alignment stage of proposed two-stage PSC algorithm.
