Abstract :
In the framework of a new neutrino beam facility, two magnetic lenses are installed to focus the beam particles. These magnetic elements are powered by capacitor discharge power converters that generate high current pulses whose nominal amplitude can reach 180 kA with double pulse mode ability. This paper describes the design, assembly, testing and commissioning of these power converters.
