Title :
An Agile Classroom Experience
Author_Institution :
Woodbury Univ., Burbank, CA
Abstract :
The Woodbury University Spring 2008 "IT410 Senior Systems Project" class has successfully applied agile principles, practices and tools to complement the software analysis, design and engineering tools and techniques students have been learning throughout their education. These skills and expertise are required to demonstrate competence and complete their final systems projects. Introducing Agile principles, practices and tools during their senior systems project class has further enhanced their "business value" competencies and capabilities which will benefit students as they prepare for graduation and new careers. This experience report covers the course preparations, design, development, experience and key learning experiences of both classroom and independent study sessions.
