Abstract
As a research focus, space information network has extensive applications in many fields. The network architecture is an important factor in network success. The architecture should be determined by many factors, such as the types, functionalities, orbits and equipped communication links of aircrafts defined as network node in space information network. Considering all above factors as input, this paper proposes a feasible mesh-based architecture and hybrid protocol model for space information network. Comparing other proposed architectures, the proposition in this paper can provide remarkable feasibility, scalability and compatibility.
