Abstract :
Electric machines designed for conversion of electrical energy into mechanical energy or vice versa play a major role in the field of conversion and use of electrical energy. The key role in this process is played by the magnetic field shaped in the magnetic circuit, which binds the mechanical energy Emech in the kinetic system and the electrical energy Eel in the stationary system of the machine into the Eel hArr Emech conversion process. Correctness of the designed magnetic circuit determines the quality of electromagnetic conversion of energy in electric machines. The paper presents basic properties of dissipationless loop of magnetic flux which has been applied for shaping the reactive structure of a new type of electric machines described in. The ability to limit dissipation fluxes in reactive structures makes it possible to build low-diameter electric machines of a big number of pole pairs which, as high-frequency machines, can achieve high densities of unit power unobtainable for conventional electric machines.
