Abstract :
In this paper, a new resonant step-up converter is presented where all active elements operate under soft-switching condition. Unidirectional switches such as reverse-blocking IGBTs are employed and to be more compatible with IGBT characteristics, ZCS condition is provided. A complete analysis of the proposed converter and experimental results from a 100 W prototype converter are presented.
