Abstract :
Creativity is the production of novel, appropriate ideas to a problem or opportunity presented, in any realm of human activity from science, to arts, to education, to business, to everyday life. People will be most creative when they are primarily intrinsically motivated by working on some thing they like, involving, exciting, and satisfying. About what they do, as well as with the extrinsically motivated like expected evaluation, surveillance, competition with peers, dictates from superiors, or the promise of rewards. Work environment , which is strongly influenced by management at all levels, can make the difference between the production of new, useful ideas for innovative business growth and the continuance of old, progressively less useful routines. Organization motivation, resources and management practices, appraisal system are the main components of organization creativity and innovation systems. This paper studies the impact of the appraisal system on employee´s creativity in high technology corporations. The outcome recommendations depend on analysis of literature reviews and five interviews have been conducted with managers and a veteran engineer.
