  • Abstract
    We propose a methodology for archiving technological knowledge based on a methodology of knowledge integration and creation called the ¿knowledge pentagram system¿ or the ¿i-System¿ to pass down to future generations information and experience-based knowledge about past technical innovation. In this paper, we propose an approach to interpret experience-based knowledge and information about technological innovation by the methodology for archiving technological knowledge based on the i-System. We report the results of the interpretation of the technology development of the Kutani-ware industry.
