Abstract :
This paper describes an experimental study of VDSL2 and PLC coexistence, which takes into account both radiated and conducted interferences. In a first step, a realistic FTTB configuration is considered to determine the mutual impact of PLC and VDSL2 in terms of Quality of Service and performances. Note that two cases are then studied: with a balanced and an unbalanced VDSL2 line. Next, effects of different parameters are presented: coexistence length, distance between electrical and phone lines, customer phone cable category and crosstalk scenarios.
