A new network service environment using active network

The complexity of the Internet and the increase of the users and the varieties of applications make the condition of the inner network and the execution results unpredictable. This paper presents the network service environment, which has an aim to implement an environment of application aware network and network aware application. This network service is an application of the active network technology. We call this new network service, demand inquiring service (DIS). The users/applications can request their original demands to the network. The network provides information or advisement of execution due to the application requests and the network conditions.
