Abstract :
In this paper, the features a LON (local open network) technology are presented. The traditional electrified railway remote control system is compared with a system based on LONWORKS. Some advantages in the system based on LONWORKS are introduced. However, three problems of the LONWORKS-based system are put forward. After the problems have been analyzed, solutions to them are produced
