Abstract :
For LLC resonant converter, design of the resonant tank influences much of the performance. In traditional design ideas, the transformer magnetizing inductance values are more dependent on engineering experience. In this paper, a model is constructed based on the proposed “current angle” theory by accurately calculating the LLC resonant converter in resonant frequency, and an improved design method of LLC resonant tank based on the new model is proposed. Finally, following proposed design guide line, a prototype of LLC resonant converter has been built and tested.
