Abstract
The aim of this paper is to compute a time-frequency representation of transient evoked otoacoustic emissions (TEOAEs) from normal adult by means of exponential distribution (ED). Quantitative analysis of the otoacoustic emissions relies on the spectral method, and TEOAEs are nonstationary signals, so the classical spectral analysis method is not satisfactory. The ED is a better method for the time-frequency representation of the TEOAEs. According to the computing results of the real TEOAEs, we have analyzed the characteristics of its time-frequency representation and described the relationship between frequency components and latencies
