Abstract :
Ed Weggeland, our friend, mentor, colleague, and professional associate, passed away February 15, 2008. From the first annual Symposium in 1979 Ed was involved in ever increasing ways in Standards Development and Symposium Planning and continued to serve in the administration of the ESD Association as an elected member at large of the Board of Directors, Vice President, Sr. Vice President and President.
