  • Abstract
    This paper presents the parameter design of components of thyristor switched capacitor (TSC) compensation with step-down transformer under the restriction of reactive power balance, and also mentions the pattern of TSC cooperated with fixed capacitor banks. The design and simulation is fully automated by the visual CVI. According to the data measured on the spot, the operation of the selected scheme is reappeared
