Abstract :
The paper is aimed to establish that the use of computer programming supports fast and accurate estimation of partial discharges, on the one hand easy determination of useful life of 11 kV bushing on the other hand. The programmes have been developed to obtain the fuzzy-c-mean & the successive estimates of partial discharges. The knowledge of PDmax i.e. maximum partial discharge yields the value of useful life of 11 kV bushing.
